Friends <3 VTM, @sagah.ca , and @yarrowsociety are grateful to once again host a space for friends, family, loved ones, and the greater community to come together for Trans Day of Remembrance on November 20th. Join us at MacLean Park in Strathcona (710 Keefer), near the field house, for an evening of food, witness, and connection. 

 This event is free and open to all <3 Schedule: • 7pm – Food service starts • 7:15pm – First performance • 7:30pm – Main event starts • 8pm – Food service ends, reading of names begins • 8:45pm – Event close Coming from @qmunity ’s event at @birdhouseartspace ? @itsnormalize will be leading this year’s walking party from The Birdhouse to Maclean Park at 7pm. Rides may also be available, TBD <3 If you’d like to reserve a spot in a car (pending availability), send us a DM. 
More details: • This is an outdoors event ☁️ Tents will be set up in case of rain, but bring umbrellas just in case ☔️ • Masks are encouraged, and mandatory in some areas. KN95’s available, take some for the event or for home 🩷😷 • Park washrooms will be open for the duration of the event 🚽 • Some seating provided, designated areas for mobility devices for clearest viewing 🪑 Bringing your own chairs is absolutely welcome • Most audience space (all provided seating, most standing) is on flat pavement. Overflow standing options are on grass. Please plan your footwear accordingly 🥾 • Additional venue lighting provided 🔅 • This event uses amplified audio. All performances acoustic 🔉 • ASL provided 👋
